Trip calendar
The bar under a date is the city you sleep in; on a travel day it's two colours. The dots above it are that day's events.
Three countries in nineteen days: Italy, Spain, Portugal. Trains where they beat flying, and a car for two days in the Douro Valley. Departing and returning from Berlin.
Cities connect in the order they sit in the itinerary. A flight is drawn as an arc, a ground transfer follows real roads, and a leg with no transfer yet stays dashed. Valencia → Madrid is dashed on this map for exactly that reason.
Cities, stays, activities and transfers live in one feed — by day and by hour. Alongside them are service events found on no ticket: free-cancellation deadlines and the gaps Triplanio spots on its own.
A booking has a price — so it's already an expense, tagged «booking» and in its category. Coffee, taxis and market ceramics are added by hand. The categories «Stay», «Transport», «Activities» and «Services» come with the trip; you can invent the rest.
The same events look back at you from four different places — and stay the same events everywhere.

Shared ones are visible to the whole group; personal ones only to whoever uploaded them.
Three things people usually remember at the airport.
Calculated from the route, not from a separate form.
The owner created the trip, admins edit the route and budget, the viewer sees everything but breaks nothing. And the group chat has a fifth voice: mention @Triplanio and an assistant that knows this route replies.
Each member links their own Telegram in the trip settings. From there the bot writes on its own — about events already in the route. You can also ask it a question or send it a document.
Check-in, check-out, train, activity, free-cancellation deadline. Not «good morning», but what costs money.
«What time is the train?», «What's the hotel address?» — the assistant looks into this route, not at the world in general.
Ask for a voucher, ticket or insurance — the assistant finds the file in the trip documents and sends it right into the chat.
Add cities and dates — the route, map, calendar and timeline build themselves. After that you just add bookings, and the prices flow into the budget on their own.
